Installation and Care

SURGEx-C1015 is designed for use in new construction or renovations in inline copper installations. The arrestor can be installed in any position and should be located as physically close as possible to the source of water hammer.
Using a tube cutter, cut a 35 mm section from the copper tubing. Slip the nuts followed the olives along the tubing. Place the arrestor in its position then tighten the units onto the tee using a spanner or an adjustable wrench. SURGEx arresters are maintenance free.

SURGEx C1015 MINI LEAD FREE is a Copper piston Water Hammer Arrester (WHA) fitted with LEAD FREE brass Olive Compression fitting for safe use with drinking water.

The C1015 uses an ‘AA’ size WHA integrated to a ‘Tee’ fitting with Olive Compression connection size ½” (15mm) on both sides.

The C1015 can be used in cold and hot water and in new or old installations. The C1015 had been charged at factory and does not need to be recharged again. It is maintenance free.
